Cocoons
Cocoons of lame minds
brooding invariably,in
this fragmentary world
of you and me,I saw them
alive amid the bubbles
of pulsating sanctuaries.
Deep sighs averted them
from suffocating within
the wrap of covetous emotions.
Blazing eyes endured the swaddled
to peddle into portions of Kismet.

APPRECIATE AND REVIEW
PIUSHA SINGH'S POEM
BETWEEN THE LINES
This has reference to the above verse from the golden pen of honorable
poetess Piusha Singh,
Above poem of honorable Poetesss Piusha Singh’s Poem carry an excellent title,
very meaningful and symbolic in literature, especially in poetry. Cocoon is a
protective case of silk or similar fibrous material spun by the larvae of moths
and certain other insects as a cover for the pupa. The interesting story is
that during the process it has oftentimes been said that the most beautiful
butterflies have actually emerged from the ugliest Cocoons. For this reason,
many people consider the process of the Cocoon to be a miracle of nature
itself. This is very symbolic, but this could have been made bit more poetic by
tailoring other natural images and vision,
still this is excellent, short and
cute.
The life cycle of butterflies and moths has been used in many cultures to
represent many things. The hatching from the egg is the equivalent of human
birth. The caterpillar represents the stage of life; the lowly “worm” waiting
for a transformation, just as we await our reward in an afterlife. Basically,
they are nothing more than a protective casing that is around an insect. This
is made of either silk or some other similar fibrous material that is then spun
around the insect during their pupal stage, which is the life stage of an
insect that is undergoing transformation.
Though, we get only one or two poems from Poetess Piusha, it is worth
reading and enjoying, She is intelligent, thoughtful and elegant, please accept
my applause, keep writing more and more, May God Bless,
Regards & Love
